Dave and Holly Combs are wonderful people as well as the founders of PEEL Zine. They took the risk of following their artistic passion and have paid the price of losing their home. I created this print with and for them to raise money to help with their huge debt. PEEL has helped to support and grow the street art community and I believe they deserve to have the favor returned. 'Sticker Kit' print is 18 x 24 inches in size with an edition size of 450, comes signed and numbered by the artist for $45 each. These prints will be online and available on Tuesday October 6th at a random time. Limit of 1 per household

The unveiling of exclusive OBEY x PEEL poster by Shephard Fairey for Peel Magazine (authors of MBP’s PEEL: The Art of the Sticker) will take place at the first Mark Batty Publisher (MBP) Urban Arts Fest: a full day dedicated to the thriving urban arts community MBP has advocated since its inception. With skateboard demos, live graffiti writing, installations, music and DJs, open bar dance party at night, and plenty of art and books for sale, there will be something for everyone! The non-profit beneficiary is Art for Progress, which supports rising multi-discipline arts in New York City.

One last print update for a while. 'Beacon For Wayward Souls' (above) + 'Old Enemies Reconcile Unseen' (below) are both 22 x 22 inch giclee print with an edition size of 50 for $135 each. They won't be ready to ship until end of September, but I'll use this time as a sort of pre-sale to those on my email list. The prints are of two of my favorite pieces from the Jonathan LeVine show and I've been waiting forever to release these. I was thinking of releasing them as smaller prints, but I wanted to do them some proper justice. Instead I chose them to be 22 x 22 inches in size.

Peru Ana Ana Peru Upcoming Art Show

You’ve seen it on the streets – just a black square with white text. Two names, a mirror image of themselves. These discreet signs of whoever or whatever refers to itself as PERU ANA ANA PERU are backed up by an eclectic collection of ornately designed pieces of artwork-- pasted, fastened, scribbled or dangling to your left or right.

WHO ARE THEY? WHAT DOES IT MEAN? We are often asked these questions. PERU ANA ANA PERU's use of different mediums is a treat if you enjoy such things and will certainly cut up a neat freak looking to compartmentalize them. Well we may not have all the answers you've been searching for, but we do have their first solo show and hope to bring you as close to their identities as you have been so far.

"...And Then We Jumped into the Abyss of Numbers: Memories in Absurdity From the Bowels of Peru Ana Ana Peru", is the title of their exhibition. A bit long? --Maybe. Very telling? --Yes. Their "abyss of numbers" will explore the unknown, the bizarre and the surreal through multi-media paintings/drawings, sculpture and installations. Video art pieces telling strange narratives will be a key focus of the work and will offer viewers yet another peek into this duo's collective psyche. This work, harmonious with a gallery space, is also intimately connected to their street presence. At their request, we dizzily revel in the irrational.

As a much added bonus, the soundtrack to the opening night event will be performed by BOMB SQUAD (Hank Shocklee; Future Frequency0. The force behind Public Enemy and some of the most significant albums of all time with a preview of the new upcoming album of futuristic dub and live electronics.

Mr Brainwash 'Don't Be Cruel' FREE Print

He’s done it again… In between his work on the new Madonna greatest hits album cover and preparing for a 30,000 square foot show in London this winter, Mr. Brainwash has designed another FREE limited edition print for Artworks Magazine. MBW created an exclusive 18 x 22 inch screen prints of 'Don’t Be Cruel' with multiple + different background colors on archival paper, numbered, signed and thumb printed by the artist.on archival paper, numbered, signed and thumbprinted by the artist. Edition size will be only 200. In addition to the print, you will get a 1-year subscription to Artworks Magazine. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a non-profit dedicated to keeping art and music education in our kids’ schools. We will let you know when these one-of-a-kind prints will be available.

Julie West Upcoming Art Show

One of my favourite artists is... British illustrator and graphic artist Julie West is due to exhibit at the all-new PinkGhost location in Hollywood, Florida. The solo show opens on October 24th, 2009 with the artist on-site to sign copies of her Chubby Books. Entry is free and there will be a whole slew of different works from Julie’s portfolio, including a 20-inch custom Dunny alongside original paintings and prints. The show will open on October 24th, 2009 (7-10pm) at PinkGhost 888 Polk Street Hollywood, FL.

Here are two NEW prints by artist David Flores. These prints are called 'Ookla The Mok', they are both 5 colour 16 x 20 inch screenprints that come signed and numbered by the artist. Above is the regular release with an edition size of 30 and below is the metallic gold edition of only 5.
