"Everything but the kitchen Sphinx. A 1/36 scale replica of the great Sphinx of Giza made from smashed cinderblocks. You're advised not to drink the replica Arab spring water."
This piece is called 'Ghetto For Life' and it was found at E 153rd St and Elton Ave in the South Bronx. This is not necessarily the best piece of Banksy's tenure here in NYC. I would've personally not glorified the word 'Ghetto', but that's me and he is Banksy so it is what it is. This is going to get hit hard and fast by taggers, mark my words.

This fun piece of graf called 'Hammer Boy' was today's gift from Banksy. This was found in the Upper West Side at 79th and Broadway. There were some ass hats who tried to tag over it but they were thwarted by some solid peeps.

I have no idea what the purpose of joke is behind this video - Banksy, today you suck!
Banksy has dropped this clever piece on top of a filled in archway in Williamsburg, which was actually erroneously listed as Bed Stuy. This is a fantastic use of finding a unique wall and using that very wall to inspire the graffiti instead of coming up with an idea and then looking for a place to install it.

Banksy is now taking aim at the multi-nationals, this Ronald McDonald piece is going to be quite active for the rest of the month.
"A fibreglass replica of Ronald McDonald having his shoes shined by a real live boy. The sculpture will visit the sidewalk outside a different McDonalds every lunchtime for the next week. Today (Oct 16th) - South Bronx"

Banksy kept it simple but made a very stronger statement today, he hit up a simple one colour stencil small piece in Tribeca. This piece is a memorial piece for the World Trade Center tragedy. I love the flower, although it represents the plane exploding in to the building it some how transforms this piece into a beautiful 9/11 tribute. Props Banksy!!
