Here is the latest from Justin Hampton it is part of a ongoing multiple release called 'Grimm Recollections' This is part #1, which is a two print set, both are eight color screen prints on 100 lb acid free paper stock measuring 18 x 24 inches. Signed by both creators and numbered in an edition of only 100 copies for $65/set. These will become available Friday June 5th at 3pm EST. From Justin: The story behind the story "After much adieu I'm pleased to finally announce 'Grimm Recollections: A Modern Retelling of the Grimm Fairy Tales. The concept was developed by myself and New York writer Andrea Grant also known as the 'Pin-Up Poet'. Our collaboration is a retelling of classic fairy tales with a modern, twisted slant in a collaboration of 12 illustrated poems. Each piece consists of 2 limited edition prints per story released simultaneously. Andrea and I met in New York City in September of 2005 at a Neil Gaiman 'Save CBGB's' reading the day after my showing with P.N.E (Post Neo Explosionism) at the CBGB 313 Gallery. We quickly realized we shared a very similar aesthetic and began scheming a creation to sink our creative teeth into. Our version of the stories are set in modern day New York City and reflect the cultural diversity and tone of the greatest urban landscape in the world while maintaining the essence of the original tales. The stories are designed in a classic fairytale book format and will read side to side as though turning the pages in a tome that you can walk through. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did in making it."  - Justin & Andrea
